Minnie Bell’s Soul Movement

Minnie Bell’s Soul Movement is a fried chicken joint owned by lifelong San Fransisco local Fernay McPherson. Known for its famous rosemary fried chicken, brown butter cornbread, and classic southern sides. It’s hard to not leave satisfied. The restaurant pays homage to the two women in Fernay’s life that taught her how to cook; her great aunt Minne and her grandmother Lilly Bell. Both were a huge inspiration to her growing up, and continue to be today as she provides delicious food for her community. Now Fernay hopes that she can inspire others around her to do the same and open up a business that brings them joy too.
