mŏkbar is owned by Esther Choi, a Korean-American chef who hopes that her food will serve as a “cultural ambassador” for Korean culture. mŏkbar serves Korean soup with ramen noodles, anju, and award-winning kimchi. mŏkbar has a location in Chelsea Market and another next to Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
