Mrs. White’s Golden Rule

Elizabeth White has owned and run Mrs. White’s Golden Rule Cafe since 1964 where there’s every forkful of food in her restaurant is packed with delicious flavor. When Elizabeth originally opened her cafe in Phoenix, parts of the city were still segregated and her business hardly made any money. But through perseverance, word of mouth, and a simple, homemade menu, the Golden Rule cafe blossomed. Today, the day-to-day operations are run by Elizabeth’s son Larry White Sr. and granddaughter Kiana White.
