Opal: Food + Body Wisdom

In 2011, eating disorder experts Julie Church, Kara Bazzi, Lexi Giblin took the leap and opened their own eating disorder clinic. Their practice, Opal: Food + Body Wisdom, continues to be informed by the community need for holistic care through a social justice and Health At Every Size lens. Through their intersectional understanding of food and body, they investigate the impact of weight bias and racism on eating disorders and support their clients holistically. Opal offers an informed array of treatment options and support including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, DBT, family therapy, exercise and nutrition groups, and more!
