Paititi Inti

When Cessy Portuguez’s family took a trip to Pennsylvania in 2009, she says they were so warmly welcomed by Pittsburghers that she knew she wanted to open her store there. Enter: Paititi Inti, her Squirrel Hill store where she showcases Peruvian artisans’ quality (and colorful) craftsmanship. At the shop, you’ll find a variety of alpaca fiber clothing, painted leather bags, handmade sculptures, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and more.

Fun-fact: Paititi Inti are the Quechua words that refer to a legendary lost Incan city of gold or utopian rich land.
