Pan-African Connection Bookstore and Resource Center

Bandele Tyehimba established the Pan-African Connection Bookstore and Resource Center to bring a high-quality bookstore to the Dallas area, and for decades it’s brought a culturally rich and historically relevant presence to the community. Pan-African Connection specializes in books on the history, health, and forward movement of African (Black) people, with one of the largest online retail African Art galleries in the world.

The bookstore also offers clothing, fabrics, educational puzzles, jewelry, natural hair products, oils, posters, paintings, and photo albums. After Bandele passed away in 2012, his wife, Akwete Tyehimba, took over to keep the business going.
