Eager to share their Venezuelan recipes with the Kent area, the Carrero family (Luis Carrasco, Gabriella Carrero, Grecia Carrero, and Juan G. Carerro) opened their Capitol Hill restaurant in 2022, building on their super popular food truck. Paparepas Venezuelan Food is a casual spot to sample delectable arepas, empanadas, tequeños, and more. While their most popular fillings are meat-based, there are options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free eaters, too!
