Rigdzin Tingkhye, originally from Tibet, opened Pema Kharpo in 1998. He personally travels to India and Nepal to procure specialty, high-quality goods from organizations dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture. The boutique sells a wide variety of goods including incense, meditation supplies, singing bowls, ceremonial tools, and books.
