Pine & Crane – Downtown

In 2022, founder Vivian Ku opened Pine & Crane’s second location in downtown LA. Vivian has fond memories of enjoying homemade noodles at her grandfather’s house during her childhood. After fleeing with nothing from China to Taiwan due to the civil war, he began making and selling noodles to support his family. He stressed to Vivian the importance of using quality ingredients and not cutting corners– these lessons later became the foundation of her own restaurant. 

Pine & Crane serves traditional Taiwanese staples prepared with simple, fresh ingredients designed to comfort and nourish customers. You’ll find dishes specific to the downtown location in addition to familiar favorites from the original!
