John Hall and Anna Bressi opened Restaurant Lola in Bremerton in late 2023 to bring elevated fine dining to Bremerton with Southern soul and New York precision. Named after Hall’s great aunt Lola, a woman with a big personality in a small package, the intimate 21-seat restaurant combines Pacific Northwest ingredients with Southern influences and techniques honed at acclaimed kitchens like Gramercy Tavern, Per Se, and Momofuku Ssam Bar. The weekly rotating, farm-to-table menu showcases fresh oysters, hand-rolled pastas, seasonal vegetables, and Southern subtleties like cast iron cornbread with whipped lardo, all served in a cozy, unpretentious space designed to feel like hosting friends for dinner at home.
