Stranded by the Sea

Tara Roberts started Stranded By The Sea in 2018 as a place for eco-conscious crafters to find products and build community. Her shop offers natural yarn and supplies for knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, felting, and other fiber arts, emphasizing sustainable, ecological, and artisan-quality materials and practices.

Through her product line and classes, Stranded By The Sea strives to educate consumers about handcrafting in the fiber arts with sustainable materials, enjoying the many benefits of natural wool, and preserving and protecting the waterways, marine life, and ourselves from synthetic fibers and their manufacture, both globally and in the Puget Sound and Salish Sea.
