Barbecue and Boba? Why yes, you can have it all. D.C.’s AunTea Boba and Supreme Barbecue operate out of the same humble kitchen in the Truxton Circle neighborhood. Father-son duo Juan and Jeremy Canlas wanted to bring the best of two worlds together into one, pulling from Juan’s experience in operating Leon’s BBQ in Maryland. The same traditional smoking process is used, but the sauces and other tweaks were made to make Supreme Barbecue different from Leon’s. To wash it all down, enjoy a popular beverage like their Cereal Milk Tea, Halo Halo Smoothie, or Vietnamese Iced Coffee.
