After receiving an ice cream maker as a wedding gift, Bonnie Plottner decided to turn her love for ice cream into a business. In 2022, with hundreds of batches and ice cream school under her belt, she officially opened Swanky Scoop, offering small-batch, artisanal ice cream crafted with local ingredients and churned in-house. With a rotating selection of 12 dairy and 8 non-dairy options in creative flavors like Honey Lemon Ricotta and Avocado Lime, you’re sure to find something you love. 

Enjoy your ice cream in a hand-rolled waffle cone (vegan and gluten free options are available!) or sandwiched between two freshly baked cookies, or take things up a notch with a refreshing soda float or a hot fudge sundae loaded with toppings. The possibilities are endless!
