Jennifer Lynn Jones opened Sweetpea’s Cakes to create custom cake art using the finest quality and freshest ingredients. Growing up baking in California, Jennifer earned the nickname “Sweetpea” from her grandmother, who encouraged her to follow her passion. After taking college courses in sculpting and art and working in the bakery industry for over 12 years, Jennifer combined her skills to start her own business. With a natural curiosity for exploring new techniques in confectionery arts, Sweetpea’s Cakes creates marvelous, one-of-a-kind custom cakes that make every celebration special. Her bakery is open weekends in the U District.
