Tal & Bert

Wife and husband duo Val Talbert and Ray Talbert founded Tal & Bert in 2020, combining their love of the outdoors, recreational mining, and art. The art at Tal & Bert is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which is finding the beauty in imperfections. They use the cracks in the concrete of their hand-poured goods and turn them into designs inspired by natural minerals. The Talberts’ storefront features many of their own works and showcases makers from around the globe.
