Thai on Main Street is a family-owned hidden gem in Monroe that brings Southeast Asian flavors to the PNW. Since owners Bousa and Amy Inthapanya opened in January 2020, they’ve transformed the space into a welcoming haven for authentic Thai and Lao cuisine.

Bousa began cooking at age eight and later worked for the Ministry of Information and Culture, where he met Amy. Drawing from Bousa’s deep-rooted culinary heritage, the restaurant offers homestyle and street-food dishes that fuse fresh ingredients with traditional spices, including laab (minced meat salad with toasted rice, lime, and herbs), khao poon katee curry noodle soup, green papaya salad (tam mak hoong), and innovative Asian fusion options like avocado curry and chicken satay.

In addition to the genuine hospitality, Thai on Main Street is immersive, featuring photos of the family farm, creating a backdrop that educates diners on Lao culture through every bite and visual detail.
