Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan created The Port Bar to be a place where Oakland’s diverse LGBTQ+ community could have fun and enjoy one gay drink at a time. At their space, which is located in the heart of Oakland, you’ll find the industrial yet elegant bar that reflects its city’s vibrance.
If engaging staff and well-crafted drinks aren’t enough to peak your interest, The Port hosts live entertainment ranging from drag shows and karaoke to cabaret at their lounge The BackSide. The BackSide is also available for private events.
