Not only does Frank Diaz serve up some of the best “mainland-style” southern BBQ in Hawaii, he also continues to employ dozens of homeless veterans and help them find secure housing. After serving in the Army and with the Department of Defense for 35 years, he knows how to communicate with veterans and is using his famous brisket to building bridges in the community.
