Unabridged Bookstore

Ever since its opening in 1980 Unabridged Bookstore founded by Ed Devereux has been flourishing. Located in Chicago, Unabridged has been serving the community with an award-winning children’s section, an extensive travel room, and offers a superb selection of fiction and poetry. Unabridged has always prided itself on being a safe space for the LGBTQ community and has one of the largest selections of LGBTQ literature to date. 

Fun Fact: Unabridged Bookstore has a monthly book club that focuses on various types of literature through a queer lens.
