Urban Squirrel

When Summer and Daniel Briggs moved into their first apartment together, they relied on their creativity and DIY endeavors to turn their space into a home without breaking the bank. They opened Urban Squirrel in 2015 with the intention of helping others do the same. The store advertises itself as a DIY lover’s dream: a thrift store full of upcycled, vintage, and handcrafted decor with an entire section dedicated to DIY supplies. 

In addition to vintage and DIY items, the couple stocks their brand US, a collection of in-house designed and crafted creations. Shop their Never Never Land collection based on the now-defunct children’s theme park inside Point Defiance Park, Tacoma, or pick up one of their botanical cabinet prints.
