Wendy Woldenberg opened WEND Jewelry in West Seattle on Earth Day 2021 to bring entirely handmade, nature-inspired fine jewelry to a neighborhood she calls home. After 22 years teaching jewelry design to high school students, a solo hike on the Wonderland Trail finally convinced her it was time to open a studio of her own. Every piece is hand-carved using traditional goldsmithing tools, made from certified recycled or Fairmined gold with ethically sourced gemstones, and designed to be gender-neutral. She specializes in custom work and heirloom makeovers, and her cozy studio on California Ave SW doubles as a rotating local art gallery.
