Jonathan Berner opened Yarn Dragon in 2018 to share his passion for dyeing yarn, creating crochet hooks, and crafting knitwear. After his knitting journey began in 2008 with the intention to create his own clothing to contribute to environmental sustainability, Jonathan discovered a profound appreciation for the historical, engineering, and artistic aspects of working with yarn. Yarn Dragon visitors can watch the creative process firsthand, from dyeing vibrant yarns to knitting beautiful pieces on industry-leading 3D knitting machines.
