In partnership with Intentionalist, BECU is proud to host the Equity in Action: It’s on Us initiative. It’s another example of our commitment to equity and inclusion.
By investing in our communities, we’re addressing racial inequities that stand in the way of equal access to financial opportunities. Our heritage months are a special opportunity for BECU to continue working alongside the Intentionalist, opening tabs to support small businesses whose owners represent the diverse communities we serve. BIPOC business owners have a unique opportunity to benefit from this effort to create a more level financial playing field, and members can join us in celebrating the talent and skill that thrives in our business communities.
Honoring Latinx Heritage Month
From September 15 – October 15, we’re inviting BECU members to support Latinx-owned businesses by visiting one of the local participating shops below for an opportunity to enjoy a free treat, courtesy of BECU’s Office of Equity and Inclusion! This offer is available to all BECU employees and members throughout the promotional month or until the tab runs out.
BECU members and employees are invited to get to know the people and the stories behind the businesses at the heart of our communities. To find out more information about these local businesses, visit the listings below.
How Do I Get My Treat?
1) Sign in or sign up for an Intentionalist account to redeem the offer; 2) Select any of the participating businesses that you’d like to visit; 3) When you’re ready to check out at the business, open the link and select the “Get A Code” button; 4) Show the generated QR code at the register and redeem your free treat!
Note: One item per person, while supplies last and while tabs are open.
