SpendLikeItMatters at AANHPI-owned businesses as part of your Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2024 celebration!
To create our AANHPI Heritage Month art, we worked with Seattle artist, Stevie Shao. She has shared the following explanation of the inspiration for her design.
In celebration of AANHPI month, this piece draws inspiration from vibrant folk art traditions to portray the resilience, grace and strength of the tiger. Bold colors and dynamic patterns echo the spirit of cultural richness and strength within the AAPI community. The tiger, a widespread symbol of courage and power, embodies our pride of culture and identity. I’m happy to honor the beauty of heritage with this piece for Intentionalist!
We’ve teamed up with Seattle Reign, Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Kraken, Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Storm, and Seattle Mariners to encourage fans and friends to explore and #SpendLikeItMatters in support of the AANHPI-owned small businesses at the heart of our communities.
