As a Seattle-based social enterprise, we are fortunate to be part of a community of stakeholders who share our passion for supporting a vibrant and diverse small business community. This week, we are excited to announce a first-of-its kind partnership with Business Impact NW, the biggest SBA microloan provider in Washington State.

Both Intentionalist and Business Impact NW are committed to supporting small businesses, with an emphasis on those owned by individuals and families from marginalized communities, including women, people of color, veterans, immigrants, refugees, people with different abilities, and the LGBTQ+ community.

“Business Impact NW and Intentionalist are two of my favorite organizations, and I’m excited about their partnership,” said Chera Amlag, co-owner of Hood Famous Bakeshop. “Our business has benefited from their support, and I look forward to seeing how their wide and diverse networks will help small businesses through resource sharing and most importantly, community building.”

Our shared values of cultivating economic opportunity and community connection are at the heart of a collaboration that will drive additional visibility and support for small businesses in the Greater Seattle area, and beyond.

“At Intentionalist, we believe in showing up for the local businesses at the heart of our communities,“ said Intentionalist founder and CEO, Laura Clise. “We’re excited to complement the technical and financial assistance Business Impact NW provides to its clients with our online directory, guides, and events to make it easy for consumers to ‘Spend Like It Matters’ and support local small businesses and the diverse people behind them.”

To kick off our partnership, Intentionalist and Business Impact NW will be collaborating on a special Small Business Saturday promotion. Stay tuned for details, which will be dropping on Monday, November 25th.
