Good news, Seattle sports fans: Baseball season is finally here. The Mariners are facing off against the Boston Red Sox at their home opener this afternoon at the newly named T-Mobile Park.

We’re all about giving you tips to #SpendLikeItMatters and guess what? You can support local small businesses when you’re out at the old ballgame!

Want to shake up your rotation of Mariners munchies? Here are the new local spots to check out this season…

Li’l Woody’s Burgers & Shakes
The ‘Pen
Stadium burgers joints may have a bad rep, but Marcus Lalario’s Li’l Woody’s is here to disprove that with their flame-grilled, quarter-pound patties, fresh fries, and hand-dipped shakes. Vegetarians don’t have to feel left out, either, with a meaty (but meatless!) Impossible Burger on the menu.

Fat’s Chicken & Waffles
The ‘Pen
Need a burger break? Lalario’s also slinging the chicken made popular at his Central District shop at T-Mobile Park, including a strips, wings, and a five-spice chicken sandwich. Brunch fans won’t find any fluffy waffles at the stadium stand, but Fat’s poutine and mac ‘n’ cheese might just make up for it.

Hit It Here Café & Bar
Close to right field
Want to get a little fancy? Drop by Ethan Stowell’s curated café featuring slices from his own Ballard Pizza Company, Beyond Meat veggie burgers, and a rotating selection of Crowd Cow burgers created by local chefs including Maria Hines of Tilth and Agrodolce and Brady Williams of Canlis.

Paseo
Edgar’s Cantina & Edgar’s Home Run Porch
You can now eat one of Seattle’s most loved sandwiches during the ball game. Paseo owner Ryan Santwire’s spicing things up at T-Mobile park with their Carribbean roast pork, chicken thigh, and tofu sandwiches and bowls. And yep, there are plenty of their mouth-watering caramelized onions to go around.

Shug’s Soda Fountain and Ice Cream
Section 152, Main Level and The ‘Pen
Baseball doesn’t have to come between you and your sweet tooth. Head to Shug’s Soda Fountain and Ice Cream to toast the season with one of owners Colleen Wilkie’s and Paul Dormann’s prosecco floats with a scoop of Lopez Island Creamery ice cream.
