Pan de Muerto season has arrived.

This traditional “Bread of the Dead” is baked in celebration of Día de Muertos, a time to honor loved ones who’ve passed. It’s lightly sweet, often flavored with orange zest or anise, and usually topped with bone-shaped dough pieces symbolizing the cycle of life and death… a reminder that remembrance can be joyful, too.
