Black Coffee Northwest is more than just a coffee shop — it’s a place for the Shoreline community to come together. Owners Darnesha and Erwin Weary opened Black Coffee Northwest in October 2020 as a venue to foster collaboration, provide Black youth in shoreline with work experience, promote and sell Black-owned products, and more. All the items on the menu are named to celebrate Black culture, like their Melanin Mocha — a dark chocolate mocha with a twist.
