Tai Tung Restaurant opened in 1935, making it the oldest Chinese restaurant in the International District. Third generation owner Harry Chan has preserved much of the restaurant’s appearance and its menu. Its history — along with its delicious spareribs and chow mein — also earned it a spot in a 2017 documentary, “Taste of Home.”
