At 199Z, Néeshell Vassell is celebrating her generation. Her brand is inspired by Gen Z and the expression of individuality. 199Z is a gender neutral fashion label, media house, and live event curation company launched in 2016. What started as Néeshell’s YouTube channel became a flagship store in 2020, where she sells 199Z-branded clothing and accessories that draw inspiration from ’90s hip-hop fashion and promotes other Toronto artists.

Néeshell says she created 199Z out of necessity, to have a place where everyone can be accepted.
