Brenda Winter Hansen opened A Better Edge in 2020, deciding to use her extra time and skill as a sharpener to open a neighborhood-based business. With a surge of people cooking at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brenda realized that a skilled knife sharpening service was needed more than ever.  She wants to help people make cooking at home a happier experience with the knives and tools they own.
