Acme Bread Company

Since 1983, California-based bakery, Acme Bread Company, has been crafting beautiful, artisan breads. The wholesale bakery sells to select local grocers and cafes, and also has two retail shops where locals can pick up fresh-baked loaves. Regulars who have come to love their fresh-baked bread say there’s nothing like it. Owners Steve and Suzie Sullivan have developed hundreds of loaves using only organic and local ingredients.

Bonus: Acme has made strides toward being more eco-friendly. Their wholesale bakery produces their own electricity, their diesel trucks are fueled with renewable diesel, and leftover bread is always donated.
