Alexandra Greenwald first fell in love with Macarons in middle school after encountering them at a local French bakery. She started her macaron business in 2013, selling at farmer’s markets and pop-ups out of her pink VW bus, Gertrude.   Over the years, her macarons developed a passionate following, and in 2020, Alexandra opened her brick and mortar bakery and cafe in Seattle’s Central District neighborhood.
