Chef Danielle Harris, or “Chef DMH”, has known since childhood that food is her passion. Taking a dishwashing job in high school just to get her foot in the door, she worked her way up the culinary ladder, even working for Iron Chef Stephanie Izard in one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Today, she owns and operates Almeda, serving Afro-fusion cuisine that blends her Midwest roots with African traditions. Favorites include Spicy Awaze Galbi Ribs, Jollof Risoto, Fried Catfish and Spaghetti, and a Whole Chicken Dinner with all the fixings.
