Angry Egret Dinette began as an idea in the midst of the pandemic as service industry workers were losing their jobs. Chef Wes Avila had recently left his celebrated restaurant Guerilla Tacos and opened up Angry Egret, a breakfast and lunch spot with a to-go window and a big patio with plenty of seating. The menu features Mexican-American comfort food blended with local flavors to deliver exquisite breakfast burritos, fresh sandwiches, and tacos, a nod to the food that first put Chef Wes on the map. Try the ‘Hey Porky’s’ burrito loaded with roasted pork shoulder, scrambled eggs, black beans, queso Oaxaca, and salsa verde for an amazing way to start your day.
