As You Are

Cafe by day, bar and dance lounge by night, As You Are exists to create a safe space for the  D.C.’s vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. Owners Jo McDaniel and Rach Pike envisioned a space that would be inclusive and welcoming to all, where people could truly be themselves. In 2022, they brought their vision to life. 

Whether you’re looking to relax with a cup of coffee or dance the night away, As You Are welcomes individuals from all walks of life, fostering an environment where authenticity, acceptance, and celebration thrive.
