Owners Linh Bien and Andy Tran started Banh Mi Up as an acclaimed food cart in October 2018. After a successful first year, they decided it was time to move the business to a restaurant. While they focus on familiar Vietnamese dishes, the pair also explore cuisine from other Asian countries. You’ll find wontons in chili oil and shrimp tempura on the menu alongside their titular pork banh mi. 

The duo recently expanded the business to a secondary location on Alberta street, dubbed Banh Mi Up Kitchen. Don’t forget to grab a drink to go with your meal– they’ve got fun options like Vietnamese Ube coffee and butterfly passionfruit lemonade!
