Lendy Hensley started Bite Society after the pandemic brought her catering company to a sudden halt. Putting ideas together with her wife, Katy Carroll, and former Director of Catering Shana Hicks, they decided to embark on delicious sendable treats in the form of gift baskets and formulated Bite Society. As the pandemic brought new challenges and supply chain issues, Bite Society used its collective food industry skills and started to produce more of its products in-house, from delectable cookies to spiced nuts and more. Their head-turning designs come from collaborations with tattoo artists (who also found themselves out of work in 2020).

Today, Bite Society operates a stand at Seattle’s Pike Place Market, with plenty of delightful eats and treats to choose from. Enjoy their uniquely flavored cookies and potato chips in stylish tins, or purchase a whole gift basket.
