J.O. Malone created BLCK Market in 2017 to showcase Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs and to help put wealth back into Black communities of Houston and beyond. BLCK Market is a retail marketplace of unique vendors that might not be found in traditional retail spaces. The goal? To inspire everyone to Shop BLCK – that is, buy more goods created by Black talent—and to uplift Black entrepreneurs to make our beautiful community, our vibrant culture, much stronger.
