Jody Bouffard started working in the lesbian bar scene in 1996. In 2008, she opened the women’s bar she knew the city needed. At Blush & Blu she has created a safe, clean space for women, which has live music, poetry, and a place for people to meet and mingle on a regular basis. Blush&Blu offers spirits, space, and a coffee place for the queer women in Denver.
