Efrem Fesaha opened Boon Boona Coffee’s Overlook Walk location in 2026 to bring East African coffee culture and community connection to Seattle’s newly revitalized waterfront. Perched atop the pedestrian bridge linking Pike Place Market to the waterfront, this location offers panoramic views alongside exclusively African-sourced coffees. The cafe includes wine and beer offerings, and also serves as an inclusive gathering space for artists, nonprofits, and local small businesses.
