Broadway Books

Broadway Books has been flourishing as an independent bookstore in the Portland area, supplying the community with endless good reads since 1992. From the store’s humble beginnings, employees have always been thrilled to help any customer looking for a recommendation, or just to talk about books.

The store has become well known for hosting events and being frequented by local community and artists. They’ve even welcomed speakers such as Michelle Obama. Currently owned and operated by Sally McPherson and Kim Bissell, the space continues to thrive and gives opportunities to up-and-coming writers today.
