Bywater American Bistro is a casual restaurant with extraordinary food (seriously, it’s a big deal) and even better hospitality. The restaurant opened in 2018, and is the brainchild of James Beard winner Chef Nina Compton, her husband and partner Larry Miller, and Chef Levi Raines, who are all committed to utilizing local, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant building used to be home to the largest rice mill in North America, so the menu makes a nod to rice and grains offering some awesome pastas and risottos.

Fun Fact: Bywater American Bistro has earned many accolades, even recent James Beard winner Kelly Fields often slips in for her favorite dish, jerk chicken rice.
