Café Allegro

Here’s something to add to your coffee geek bucket list: visiting Café Allegro, a.k.a. Seattle’s oldest coffee shop. Allegro’s been brewing and roasting beans in their cozy, alleyway nook in the University District since 1975. It has long been a hangout spot for University of Washington students and coffee fiends, whether they want to hole up and study or read on the café’s sunny upstairs deck.
