Built inside of a small tienda, this is the first location in Capitol Hill. Tacos are legit and have a lot of flavor! Shortly after they expanded to have veggie options, burritos, y quesadillas! My favorite taco place.
Hands down the best taco joint in Seattle! How can anyone say “no” to mouth watering al pastor tacos on fresh homemade tortillas at affordable pricing? Carmelo’s Tacos is a blessing to the city; Seattleites and visitors will not be disappointed!
Don’t let the location deceive you, this is definitely one of the best places for tacos in Seattle! I have enjoyed both their tacos and quesadillas, and the varieties of salsas (especially the green salsa) and the pickled veggies. The portions are very generous and the prices are super reasonable. I’m excited to check out their new location!
Carmelo’s is located inside a convenience store with a new takeout window that came about during the pandemic. Their mushroom tacos sets them apart from other taquerias and makes it very accessible for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I appreciate their late hours and the pickled veggies that complement the tacos so well!
