In an age where big brand names dominate the market place, Linda Sabee wanted to offer something radically different. In 2002, she opened her boutique, Carmilia’s (named after her two kids, Carsten and Emilia) and filled it with goods made by local micro-businesses. She knows that supporting tiny brands makes a huge difference in the designers’ lives! In addition to carrying boutique brands, Carmilia’s also stocks select vintage items.
Fun fact: The store is a party, if you stop in you’ll find it’s lit with a disco ball!
