Chef Skip 202 boasts piping hot, fried seafood with a kick of Cajun spice. Founders Christopher and Chantel Skipper started their business in 2016 as a humble food truck selling fried food around the streets of DC. In 2021, the restaurant found its permanent home near Howard University, serving boxes of seasoned shrimp, clam strips, and salmon bites as well as fish tacos and wings. Order their crab cake sandwich topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and Chef Skip’s special homemade sauce— it’s delicious!

Bonus: Each meal comes garnished with the restaurant’s signature purple flower.
