Opened by Kyle and Kelly Taylor in 2015, Chrome Yellow Trading Co. is a coffee and dry-goods shop serving Stumptown coffee. In the South.

Story
Kelly Taylor first started working in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood more than twelve years ago, first at a German auto repair shop, and then at the custom furniture shop that would one day become the space for the coffee and dry goods shop she now owns with her husband, Paul. The name of their business, Chrome Yellow Trading Co. was inspired by the title of Aldous Huxley's first novel, "Crome Yellow," and loosely offers a 21st century riff on early 20th century gathering places for creative exploration.

The culmination of ten years of working in hospitality, dreaming about opening their own place, the shop debuted in 2015, and has been embraced by the community as a place to connect, study, work, or simply let the mind wander. Members of the Old Fourth Ward Business Association, Kelly and Paul love being a part of the local community and ongoing neighborhood efforts supporting inclusive growth.
