A lumpia recipe from a small village in the Philippines has been making a big splash in the States. What started as a frozen lumpia delivery service on Facebook marketplace quickly exploded into full service catering. After years of renting commercial kitchen space, Cristy McFall opened Cristy’s Lumpia in 2013. With the help of Business Impact Northwest, she was approved for a microloan that helped her double her revenue and create stable jobs on Camano Island. While Cristy’s doesn’t have a dining space as it stands, you can visit to purchase frozen food, order take-out, or have your next event catered!
