DCity Smokehouse – Anacostia

DCity Smokehouse owner Melvin Hines has been proudly serving their award-winning BBQ since 2013. The restaurant moved from its original location to a larger venue off Florida Ave in 2017, offering the same mouthwatering menu and meat-packed sandwiches that earned them a devoted following. The Anacostia location opened in 2023. 

Try the Smokehouse Melt sandwich topped with cheddar-jack cheese and their house-made BBQ sauce, or order a BBQ sampler pattern to try out all their options. Melvin’s signature brisket and ribs are smoked for eight to ten hours in their custom smokehouse, resulting in a flavor-packed, tender final product. Pair your meal with a delicious side like spicy collard greens, jalapeno cheddar grits, hushpuppies, or potato salad, all made fresh daily.
